Faughs GAA Club

Faughs have a big challenge ahead. We’re recruiting more and more new members from Templeogue, Terenure and the surrounding areas. This means we need to make plans for their future now.
In recent years we have built an all-weather training pitch and ball wall. Last year we extended the ball wall to keep up with the growing demand for training space. Our next big plan is to upgrade the very place where the real action happens, our pitches in Tymon and Osprey.

People may not notice but there is actually an 8 Ft. drop on our main pitch. Games are often postponed here due to flooding and training has to be confined to the sidelines to allow grass to recover. In 2018 we are going to level, drain and resurface the entire area of this pitch.

The total cost of delivering this project is around €220,000. The good news is that we have secured a Sports Capital Grant of €120,000. Faughs now need to raise the remaining €100,000. Fundraising has always been a part of our survival in the GAA. This can only happen through the generosity, commitment and hard work of all our members.

We are asking Members, parents and corporate supporters to commit to 12 monthly payments of €35 or alternatively a once off corresponding lump sum. Where this option does not suit please select one that does suit your personal circumstances.
Once you donate €250 or more in any one tax year Faughs can claim back the tax you paid on that amount.
