Club Notes 9th October 2018
What a whirlwind weekend with several teams in Championship action.
Senior hurlers were first up on Fri night and following a slow start went on to defeat Tomás Dáibhis comfortably. Conor O’Shea led the comeback and was man of the match. Time and date of final TBA. Watch this space or club website for details.
Senior camogie team faced St. Oliver Plunkett/Eoghan Ruadh in their B championship semi-final on Sun morning and following the most exciting tie of the weekend came away one-point winners. They now face Kilmacud Crokes in the final next Sunday in the National Arena, Abbotstown, throw in 3.00p.m. Bus leaving Clubhouse @ 1pm, to book your place contact Joanne Goody on 087 9553491. U15s camogie played valiantly before losing their championship tie.
U16 hurlers play Skerries Harps next Sat, @ 3pm in Skerries in the C Championship semi-final.
U15As went down to St. Vincents in their final League game, the result here was academic as they are already top of the league table. U15Bs had a convincing win over Erins Isle and remain top of the League table. U14 team secured automatic promotion and second place on the League table following a hard fought battle with St. Oliver Plunketts. U13As had a good win over Castleknock to leave them in second place with a game in hand in the Div 1 League. U13 Div 5 had a good win over Raheny and are now tied on top of the league table.
Please come out and support all our teams in their upcoming important fixtures.
