5th Season With The Dubs for Kerrie Finnegan

Everyone in Faughs sends best wishes to Camogie star Kerrie Finnegan as she embarks on her 5th season with the Dublin Senior Camogie Team.

Kerrie joined the Dubs Senior panel in 2019, winning Young Player of the Year in her debut season. She has been a starting forward in over 30 Championship/League games and has a remarkable scoring record for Dublin.

Kerrie made her camogie debut for Faughs Celtic U9s in 2008 and has won League and Championships titles for the Club at U13, U15 and Minor A.

She also had great successes with the Pius and Our Lady’s School camogie teams.

In 2018 she won the Division 2 championship title with Faughs Celtic Seniors and has won the Division 2 league in 2023, which has led to the promotion to Division 1 in 2024.

She played a pivotal role in the history making TU Dublin team who won the All Ireland Ashbourne Cup in 2023, the year after winning the Purcell Cup in 2022. This year she captained the TU Dublin team to the Ashbourne final.

Kerrie is a great volunteer in the Club, helping with Juvenile Refereeing / Coaching and also promoting camogie to our Juvenile players.
