Bennett Boston Bound with the Dubs

Best wishes to Chris Bennett and the Dublin Senior Hurlers as they take on Galway in the AIG Fenway Hurling Classic in Boston on Sun 22nd.  It will be the first time since 1954 that hurling will be played at the world famous home of the Boston Red Sox.  More details on the game here.

Chris is Faughs representative on the Dubs senior hurling panel.  He spend 3 years with the Dublin Minors from 2012 to 2014, playing in 2 Leinster Minor Finals and an All Ireland Final and was brought onto the Senior panel this year as soon Leaving Cert exams were completed.

Chris also won a medal in an U9 blitz in Cuala in 2005.

The game, which is in Donal Og Cusack’s Super 11 format, will be shown live on TG4.  Have a look.
