2013 Camogie (U11)

U11 Camogie Team (2013)

The Faughs Celtic 2013 team is for all girls born in 2013. We train on Thursday evenings in Templeogue College from 6.00 to 7.00pm. This year at U11 we’ll take part in Go Games, non competitive matches and blitzes where we try to put into practice, the skills we have learned at training.

New girls are always welcome to come along and try it out, you’ll quickly see if camogie is for you.

PRACTICE

Please encourage your daughter to practice at home as often as possible. The difference between kids who are good at sport and those who are not is purely down to how much practice they do, “natural talent” has nothing to do with it !.

Parents can play an extremely important roll by simply asking the girls to demonstrate what they have learned.

WE ARE FAUGHS CELTIC

None of our girls should be using a hurl any bigger than 26″. Small and light is always right, longer and heavier hurls just inhibit the girls development at this crucial stage.
