2014 Camogie (U10)

U10 Camogie team for 2024 – girls born in 2014

The Faughs Celtic 2014 team is for all girls born in 2014. We train on Thursday evenings in Templeogue College from 6.00 to 7.45pm. This year at U10 we’ll take part in Go Games, non competitive matches and blitzes where we try to put into practice, the skills we have learned at training.

New girls are always welcome to come along and try it out, you’ll quickly see if camogie is for you.

Hurley size is all important at this vital stage in the girls development. None of our U8s should have anything bigger than a 26″ hurl, in many cases a 24″ hurl would work best. It’s so much easier for the girls to master their striking and to develop a fast wristy swing if using a really short hurl. Longer or heavier hurls are the complete opposite and are massively detrimental to their progress.

SHORT AND LIGHT IS ALWAYS RIGHT
