Camogie Hurl with me Program

The Camogie Association is launching the Hurl with me Program for 2105. This is a coaching program where girls aged betweeen 7 and 10 years can sign up with their parent/guardian for a course of six training sessions where both child and parent/guardian can learn the basic skills of the game together.

So, mammies especially, and daddies, if you’re embarrassed about being shown up by your 7 year old camogie superstar daughter in Bushy/Tymon Park of a sunny afternoon, this is for you. You can practice on your own in the back garden while she’s at school and then redempton is at hand.

Eve Talbot, Camogie Regional Development Officer for Dublin, will be coordinating our first course here in Faughs Celtic starting on 15th April.

A national participation day will be held on 6th June in Dublin for all clubs taking part in the programme. On this day both parents/guardians and their daughters will take part in a fun day of blitzes/games.

Unfortunately the April course in Faughs is booked out already but we’ll be running it again soon. Contact Robbie at rlewisroofingexperts@eircom.net to register your interest for follow up course.

In the meantime, you can check out the instructions/guidelines here and get praticing: Hurl with Me Booklet
