CLUB NOTES 12th May 2015

Great week for Camogie teams – Snr 3’s had a good win over Naomh Fionnbarra and Snr 6 defeated Kilcoole. U/16s Div1 had an impressive win over Na Fianna, U/14s Div 2 had a big win over Erins Isle and U/13s Div 1 had a fine win over Ballyboden St. Endas. Well done to all the girls!

Best of luck to our adult hurling teams next weekend in the second round of championship games. Seniors play Ballinteer St. Johns in O’Toole Park @ 7.00 on Friday evening, Junior As play St. Oliver Plunkett/Eoghan Ruagh @ 6.00p.m. in Martin Savage Park on Saturday and Junior Bs take on Crumlin on Sunday morning @ 11.00. All support welcome.

Executive Meeting next Monday 18th May @ 8pm.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery go to Kathleen Burke who is recovering after a spell in hospital.

It was with great sadness that we learned this weekend of the death of Tom Woulfe, a great Gael and longtime active member of the Association. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.

Judging in the “History of Faughs” competition in conjunction with “Faughs 130” is now complete and the prize-winning entries will be on display in the clubhouse (upstairs) on Wednesday evening @ 7.45. We hope to see all entrants together with their parents, teachers and past and present members along on the night

Lucky First Goal” scratchcards for the Dublin v Galway match are now on sale in the clubhouse @ €2 each or 3 for €5, get yours early and be in with a chance of winning €500.
