Club Notes 12th May 2019

Joint TEAMS OF THE WEEK are U15 Camogie who completed a run of seven straight wins to take the League title on Sunday morning and U13 camogie who were worthy winners of the Dorry Murray Tournament also on Sunday. Great to see that the cup will be staying at home this year.
We wish a speedy recovery to Ailís Nolan who suffered a nasty hand injury in the final also to Kara O’Brien who received a facial injury while attending the games!

Well done to all who worked so hard to make the Tournament such an outstanding success, and a big “THANK YOU” to the many teams who travelled to take part.

Well done also to James O’Brien and the Dublin minors who gave a good account of themselves against Wexford on Saturday evening.

Many thanks to O’Loughlin Gaels for the hospitality shown to our U9 hurlers. A great day out and four matches played before experiencing the real thing in Nowlan Park afterwards. Plenty to think about for the future.

Well done to Seamus O’Connor Jr. who completed the Terenure 5K in 34 minutes. Keep up the good work Seamus.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the Cunningham family on the sad untimely passing of Jimmy following a brief illness. Jimmy was a great Gael and long-time supporter of Faughs hurling. In ithealann Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
