Commiserations to our U21A hurlers who bowed out of the Championship on Wednesday last at the hands of Kilmacud Crokes. The lads gave of their best but finally had to concede to a stronger Crokes side. Well done to team and management on reaching the semi-final of this competition.

Deepest sympathy is extended to Patrick Grimes, the boys Padraic and Taidhg and the extended Grimes family on the death of Carmel following a protracted illness. Ar dheis laimh De go raibh a hAnam dilis.

Will anyone who has tickets sold for Michael Kennedy’s fundraiser please return them to the clubhouse on or before Saturday afternoon. Thank you!

Interesting Fact, courtesy of  @GAA_Stats, This week back in 1972 Faughs played Boards Mill in the Club Championship. The game was a total Goal Fest with Faughs winning 9-12 to 7-2 (16 Goals – A Record!!!)

Annual Carol Evening in the main hall on Thursday 22nd December @ 7.30p.m. followed by refreshments.  All family and friends are invited to come along and enjoy some festive cheer.

Fun Quiz as usual on Wednesday nights.

Line dancing in the club every Monday & Wednesday from 7:30pm to 11pm.

Club Lotto – Numbers were 5, 8, 14 and 27. No winner. Two ‘Match 3’ winners – PJ Newman and Niall O’Cleirigh. Turkey Voucher winners – Claire Cunningham & Trevor Donohue. Next week’s jackpot will be €5,200 euro. Thanks to all who support our club lotto.
