CLUB NOTES 13th June 2017
In a busy week of hurling Jnr B Team were first out on Tues evening last when they had a convincing championship win over Skerries Harps. Ciaran O’Shea was top scorer here and coupled with great defensive play ensured victory.
Jnr As had a tough draw v St. Marks and had to settle for second best in a strongly contested game on Wed evening.
Snrs had two points to spare over Setanta in the League on Sat.
On Sun Jnr 5 team fought valiantly before going down to Ballinteer St. Johns.
At Juvenile level U12As had a comprehensive win over Na Fianna to place them firmly on top of the League table.
U14s played Mount Leinster Rangers in a challenge game as they prepare for their trip to Galway where they will represent Dublin in the Regional Feile.
Well done to Michael Moore, Liam Mostyn, Sean Cooney and James O’Brien who lined out for Dublin U14s at the weekend.
Well done also to Megan Lewis and the Dublin U16 Camogie team who had a good win over Clare in the Championship this weekend.
Deepest sympathy is extended to Kitty Kennedy on the death of her brother Billy Hennessy, Portlaoise. Ar dheis De go raibh a Anam dilis.
Our Food Fair on Saturday 24th June is set to be one of the best social events of the year. Music in the Members’ bar afterwards will round off a great evening. Get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Golf Society next outing is this Sat 17th June in Luttrelstown, Golf Classic is on 29th June, there are still some Tee Times available, contact Gus Brennan.
