CLUB NOTES 15th August 2017
Good luck to our Jnr B team as they play in a Championship Semi Final next Sun against Craobh Chiarain in Clonshaugh @ 11am, we appreciate as much support as possible for the lads.
There is a great buzz around the clubhouse as we prepare for Ceili House on the eve of the Hurling All Ireland – this was a magnificent night the last time it was held in Faughs and this year is going to be no exception. The date is Sat 2nd Sept. Tickets are available from bar staff @ €5 each.
Commiseration to the young Dublin Minor Hurlers on their All Ireland Semi Final loss.
It was great to see Harry Jones back in the club after his recent illness, (looking as dapper as ever!). Best wishes to Kathleen Boucher & Robbie Cooke who both have planned surgery this week. Get well wishes to Maurice McConnell, grandfather to Scott.
Fun Table Quiz every Wed night. Admission free. All welcome.
Trad nights every first and third Thursday in Members’ bar. If you play an instrument, sing a song or just love traditional music why not come along and enjoy the craic.
Faughs Cul Camp is on 21st to 25th August.
