Club Notes 16th Sept 2014
Following a hard fought battle our Snr team, inspired by a great performance by Gavin Kenny, came out on top in their Championship tie against St Brigids.
Jnr As were unlucky to lose their game against Scoil Ui Chonaill on Sat last.
Jnr Ds – despite scoring 3-16 went down narrowly to Naomh Barrog on Sunday.
Well done to Snr 4 camogie team who had a very good win in the first round of the championship against Clanna Gael. Next up is St Oliver Plunketts on Sun 28th
Despite a great effort against a very strong Naomh Mearnog the second adult camogie team were pipped at the post in the Summer Cup Final on Sunday.
U/13 camogie team were unlucky to lose in the Shield Final against Newcastle West (Limerick) in the St Jude’s Sevens on Sat. Thanks to our neighbors for putting on such a great event.
Our U/8, U/10 & U/12 camogie teams hosted a blitz on Sun morning for Dicksboro (Kilkenny) & Blackrock (Cork). Thank you to all who contributed to making things ‘Run like Clockwork’.
Fixtures for the coming week:-
Minors play against St Judes on Sun next @ 10:30 in Tymon.
Golf Society next outing is on Friday 19th September in Beech Park Golf Club @ 2pm.
