CLUB NOTES 18th JULY 2017
Team of the week are out U/13 Hurlers who were unbeaten throughout the PJ Troy tournament and went on to win division 2 Final. Great performances and effort from all the squad!
Jnr B Championship Quarter Finals this Tues 18th July @ 7:15pm in Tymon Nth with Counsel Gaels as the opposition.
Minors play their postponed game against Castleknock on Wed @ 7pm in Tymon Nth in the League.
On Sat 22nd our Snrs are out against St Oliver Plunkett’s ER in the AHL2 League. And on Sunday both AHL5 teams have games @ 11am – Faughs (1) – Manager Seamus O’Connor play Realt Dearg at home and Faughs (2) – Manager Shane Brew play Skerries Harps also at home.
Loads of matches this week, come out and support the lads!!!
Congratulations to Faughs Snr Camogie girls Teresa Timmons & Sally O’Grady who represented Dublin vs Scotland in the annual Shinty International last Sat in Na Fianna.
This Tuesday in the members bar you will be treated to a Traditional Irish Music Session, this session is open to anyone who wants to bring an instrument, sing a tune or simply be part of the audience.
Golf Society Captains Day results – Congratulations to Pat O’Brien who lifted the Claret Jug, 2nd Paul Newman, 3rd Paddy O’Brien. Class 1 winner Mick O’Boyle, Class 2 winner Pat Byrne. Longest Drive Kevin Hughes. Next outing is the Martin Freeman memorial in Tulfarris on 12th August.
