Club Notes 18th October 2016

Commiserations to Senior 3 Camogie team who bowed out of the championship in the county final replay v Kilmacud Crokes on Sunday afternoon. This was a ding-dong battle with the lead changing hands more than once, but at the final whistle Crokes were ahead by the narrowest of margins. A big “Thank You” to management team Sean, Liam and Sarah.also Miriam (First Aid) and, of course, the players for all their endeavours throughout the year. Best of luck to U16s who take on Ballinteer St. Johns in the Championship Final next weekend. Venue and time tba.

In hurling our minors had one point to spare in the championship semi-final v St. Sylvesters on Sunday. Jack McVeigh was our “Man of the Match” here. U16s also had a good win over Clontarf but U15s were unfortunate to lose to a strong Raheny side. U13s had a great weekend with wins for both A and B teams over Commercials and Setanta respectively.
