CLUB NOTES 1st March 2016
Well done to Minor Hurlers who had a 3pt win over Thomas Davis in their game on Sun morn, great performances from Philip Jordan, David Croke, Neill Bennett & Jack McVeigh.
Overall a great start to the year for our young hurlers with U/15s beating old rivals Skerries away on Sunday in Div 2. U/16s beat St Pats, U/13s Div 1 beat Ballyboden & U/13 Div 6 beat St Pats. Well done to mentors, parents & especially the players, keep it up.
U/15 Camogie also had a cracking game, beating Balinteer St Johns by 1pt.
Best of luck to U/16 Faughs girls Chloe Mullen, Jennifer Sullivan & Becca Lewis in the Leinster A Championship next Sunday V Kilkenny and to Jessie Murphy, Emma Ryan, Holly Finnegan & Kate Clarke (capt) in the Leinster B Championship V Laois also next Sun.
Fixtures for coming week – Senior Hurlers take on Naomh Fionnbarra Next Sunday @ 10:30 in Div 2 League in Pope John Paul II Park.
AHL 5 take on St Marks @ 12:00 on Sunday in Tymon Nth. and AHL 6 Play Craobh Chiarain also @ 12:00 on Sunday in Clonshaugh.
Golf Society next outing is 25th March in Edmondstown.
