CLUB NOTES 1st September 2015

 

Senior and Minor games fixed for last week were both deferred. Watch this space for details of rescheduling. Junior 7s had a convincing League win over Thomas Davis on Sunday morning. U10s had a successful day out winning all three games v Clontarf on Saturday.

 

A BIG “HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ to Seamus and Kenneth O’Connor who celebrated their 21st birthday last week.

 

Commiserations to Rebecca, Chloe, Megan, Emma, Saoirse and the Dublin U16 Camogie team who were pipped at the post by Waterford in the All Ireland final on Sunday. Senior 3s had a good win v Portobello on Wednesday.

All budding chefs are reminded that Faughs Famous Food Fair takes place this year on October 3rd.

 

A group of our longer serving members had a very enjoyable outing on Friday when they met up with a visiting group from Kinvara (Co. Galway) for lunch and reminiscences.

 

Well done to Sean Lambe who completed his 99th Marathon in Longford at the weekend.

 

Club Lotto this week’s numbers are 1, 22, 23 and 24. No winner. No match three numbers. Next week’s jackpot will be €2,400.
