Club Notes 22nd December 2019
As the year draws to a close we look back with satisfaction on a season which saw both our senior hurling and camogie teams earn promotion to Div. 1 and most of our juvenile teams reaching the final stages of their competitions. Kerrie Finnegan was voted Young Camogie Player of the Year. Well done to all.
2020 promises to be an exciting year around the club as we celebrate 135 years of Faughs Hurling and also the 100th anniversary of Faughs, representing Dublin, winning the All Ireland and bringing the Great Southern and Western Railways Cup to the club. To mark the occasion we are hosting a Gala Dinner Dance in the Hogan Suite, Croke Park, on Sat. 18th January. Tickets @ €80 each may be purchased online or from any committee member. There is a limited number of rooms available in the Croke Park Hotel at a special rate of €129 per room for persons attending the function, booking reference – BOOKING180120. This promises to be a great night not to be missed.
Club Lotto – Jackpot €12,700. Numbers 10, 13, 26 & 27. No Winner. One ‘Match 3 winner – Fintan Lawlor. Turkey Voucher winners – Brian Redmond & Bart Sweeney. Next week’s jackpot will be €12,800.
