CLUB NOTES 23rd February 2016
Junior Bs had a convincing win over Civil Service in their first outing of the New Year on Sunday. Despite inclement weather the lads played some great hurling and emerged deserving winners. Everyone gave their best but special mention must go to Donal Murnane, Robbie O’Connell and Tadhgh Clifford. We wish a speedy recovery to Aaron Ryan who picked up a hand injury in this game.
Our latest group of U8 hurlers made their debut in the Go Games in Kimmage Manor at the weekend. Well done to mentors, parents and, of course, the stars of the day, the players. Great to see former U8s Ciaran Brady, Tim Gleeson and Sean Lowney on refereeing duty.
Next Sunday our Minors play Thomas Davis in Tymon Nth @ 11.00.
Players are reminded that memberships need to be paid before the season starts as they will otherwise not be insured and will be ineligible for selection.
Thanks to Fr, Richie Goode who celebrated our annual club Mass on Sunday last.
Best wishes go to Mick Kennedy and Joe Noone both of whom are hospitalized at the moment.
