Club Notes 24th April 2018

A huge “well done” to our Feile team who beat all opposition to reach the final on Sunday where they were unfortunate to lose out to neighbours St. Judes.

What a busy week for adult hurling. Seniors played two championship games and won both. First up was Parnells in Chanel on Tuesday evening when they came away with a comprehensive win. Then on Sat due to recent heavy rains they had to concede home advantage to Ballyboden St Endas and once again won convincingly, Junior As travelled to Pairc N. Uinsionn on Sat and also won by a large margin

Senior 2 camogie team also started their campaign with a great win over St. Vincents.

Happy Birthday to Margaret Murray who celebrated a significant Birthday this week.

Golf Results – Congratulations to Aongus O’Grady who came first in perfect conditions last Friday in the Grange Golf Club.

Request for Volunteers to mark pitches – We urgently need to put together a rota of volunteers to mark our pitches, it is vital for us to have pitches marked fully in order for us to play home matches. If enough people volunteer the burden might only be once or twice over the whole summer. Contact any member of the executive or secretary.faughshurling.dublin@gaa.ie if you can spare a couple of hours at some stage over the summer. Thank you!

Next traditional music and song night in the Members’ bar on Thursday 3rd May. Visitors welcome. No cover charge, just drop in and join the musicians & singers or just enjoy the craic.

Fun Table Quiz in the member’s bar every Wednesday night. All welcome

The Big Night Out at Leopardstown Racecourse is on 16th August. Tickets now available from Eoin Reynolds or any team mentor.
