CLUB NOTES 24th March 2015

Senior and Junior A games scheduled for the weekend were both postponed. Watch this space or check club website for re-fixtures. Junior Ds on their first outing of the new season went down narrowly to St. Brigids. Minors had a convincing win over Ballinteer St. Johns.

It was great to see our juvenile teams making full use of the revamped pitches in Osprey at the weekend.

Well done to Chloe Mullen, Jennifer Sullivan, Isabelle Costello, Kerri Finnegan Saoirse Malin, Emma Ryan, Rebecca Lewis, Aoife McCabe, Holly Finnegan and Kate Clarke who all represented Dublin in their respective age groups at the weekend.

Well done to Traolach Martin and the Terenure College team who defeated Carlow CBS in the Leinster C Hurling Final.

We wish Daragh Kelly all the best as he sets off to take part in the Marathon des Sables (described as the world’s toughest foot race) in the Sahara Desert over Easter.

Best wishes for a long and happy life together to Paul and Emma Sweeney who celebrated their marriage last week.

Congratulations to Nicola Cunningham and David O’Gara on the birth of their baby daughter Abbie, a lovely grand-daughter for Joe and Claire and cousin for Ethan.
