Club Notes 25th February 2014
Great start to new camogie season with a fine win by U/15s in Div 1, 3-8 to 1-2 Vs Crokes and U/13 As with a solid draw against Skerries inspired by Amber Finnegan. U/13 Bs lost to St Maurs. U/14s had a good win over a strong Naas side in a challenge match. Well done to Catherine Costello who was part of Dublin minor panel who defeated Cork by 0-12 to 0-7 in All Ireland minor clash, and to Megan Lewis who was part of Dublin U/16 team who defeated Wexford 2-7 to 1-8 in the first round of Leinster Championship.
Well done to minor hurlers who started their League campaign with a good win over Castleknock.
U/10s also had a good start to the season with a draw against Clontarf. The lads showed great determination in their first match in difficult conditions.
U/11 hurlers played at half time during Dublin – V – Clare and had a great day out. Photos are on sportsfile.com.
Congratulations to Mick Dunne and his bride Catriona who have just returned from honeymoon. We wish them both every happiness for the future. Congratulations also to Willie and Teresa Devitt on the birth of their grandson, Luke.
