Club Notes 25th March 2014

Snr hurlers had a great ‘Trip to Tipp’ on Sunday, en route to Thurles they diverted to Cashel and played King Cormacs in a friendly which our boys won convincingly. We wish a speedy recovery to Richie Neville who was injured in this game. Ca raibh an Maor Laighis? It was great to see Traolach Martin back on the scene following his recent illness. Next SHL game is on Sun Morning 30th March @ 10:30 in Tymon Nth.

Congratulations to Portumna on winning the Tommy Moore Cup for the fourth time, and also to St Vincent’s on their great win.

U/12 Hurlers had a great win over Castleknock and U/12b beat Na Fianna. U/9s had a great weekend, 2 wins and a narrow defeat on Sat – v – Naomh Olaf. On Sunday they too went to Semple Staduim to support the Dubs, after having a challenge game against Kilruane McDonaghs (2 wins).

Happy Birthday to Linda Spellman who celebrates a significant birthday this week.

Deepest sympathy to Maura Reilly & the Reilly family on the death of Eddie. And also to the Hannigan family on the sad untimely passing of George Hannigan. May they rest in peace.
