Club notes 27th October 2015
A productive weekend on the playing pitches commenced on Saturday with our senior hurling team who travelled to Raheny and defeated the home side convincingly in their senior 2 League game. Best performances from Sean McCann, Chris Bennett and Rian Doyle.
Then on Sunday junior Bs had a convincing win over Na Fianna in Mobhi Road thanks to a huge team effort but especially Trevor Donohoe who made some great saves and .at the other end of the pitch sent a blistering shot to the net from a penalty also Aaron Ryan, Donal Lynch who together with Cillian Prendergast were “Men of the Match”.
Our U10s travelled to Castlecomer on Sunday and had a great day’s hurling and enjoyed wonderful hospitality from the home team.
On the camogie front our senior 4 team had a resounding championship victory over St. Oliver Plunkett/Eoghan Ruadh. They now progress to the final next Sunday v Naomh Padraig. Time and venue tba. Please check club website or club noticeboard for details.Senior 6s also ended the year on a high note and will compete in Div 5 in 2016. Well done to teams and mentors.
