A good week on the Juvenile hurling front – U/14 Div 2 team recorded a fine win beating Cuala 3-10 to 3-04 leaving them joint second. On Sat U/13 Div 1 team defeated St Jude’s 11-07 to 4-04 leaving them joint second in Div 1 and U/13 Div 5 team beat Cuala 5-9 to 3-3 and have won 7 from 7 and sit top of their Division. Very well done lads!
Junior A hurlers play St. Jude’s next Sat. evening @ 6pm on the main pitch. Junior Bs play Na Fianna away on Sun. @ 10.15.a.m. For full list of fixtures please check club website.
Well done to Scott McConnell, Sean McDonald, Kevin Hogan and the Dublin U14 team who reached the concluding stages of the prestigious Tony Forristal Tournament in Waterford at the weekend. Also to James O’Brien, Sean O’Brien and Sean Cooney who were part of the Dublin U15 squad who all played very well in the Arrabawn Tournament in Tipperary also last weekend.
Next Irish music and song night in the Members’ bar is on Thursday 5th September. No cover charge. All welcome.

It was with deep sadness that we learned of the sad passing of Con Ryan. Con was for many years together with John Leonard the force behind the Dublin Junior Hurling Board. Con’s contribution to Dublin hurling is legendary. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and former colleagues on Dublin County Board. In ithealann Dé go raibh a anam dilis.
