Senior hurlers had their first outing of the year in the Cup and in torrential rain were unlucky to go down by the narrowest of margins to Naomh Olaf.
Well done to our U8 hurlers who tasted competition for the first time in the Go games at the weekend. Stars of the future!
Huge congratulations to Faughs girls Chloe Mullen, Kerrie Finnegan, Isabelle Costello, Jennifer Sullivan, Saoirse Malin & the Dublin Minors on beating Waterford 1:05 to 0:7 in 2nd round of All Ireland Minor Championship, they meet Tipperary on 11th March.
John and Rachel O’Malley paid a much- anticipated visit to the club at the weekend. The atmosphere was electric and the craic was mighty. It was great to see so many old friends and a great time was had by all. Thanks to you both for making the trip.
Traditional music will take place in the clubhouse on Thursday next.
Monday Makers on the last Monday of every month. Why not come along and knit, sew, crochet or just have a cup of tea and chat. Everyone welcome.
All club memberships are now due so please ensure you get your money in if you haven’t done so already.
