CLUB NOTES 29th August 2017
U/14s travelled to Waterford to represent Dublin in the Tony Forrestal Tournament on Sat. Having disposed of the home team convincingly in their opening game they eventually bowed out to a strong Tipperary side in the concluding stages. Well done to all on a great performance.
U/12s had a great day out in Gorey on Sun. Thanks to the home club for their hospitality.
Jnr Bs are in a Championship Final on Sat evening in Parnell Park @ 5:30 pm. Support is vital for the lads as they take on Maurs. Good luck to players & mentors!
Golf society – Results of outing to Moyvalley this weekend. Front nine Paty Byrne, Back nine Michael Byrne. 3rd Shay Daly 38pts, 2nd Paul Newman 39pts 1s Padraic larkin 41 pts. Well done Padrais on a great score. Next outing President’s Prize on 9th September.
The much anticipated Ceili House comes to the clubhouse next Saturday night. There is a limited number of tickets available from bar staff. Get yours early to avoid disappointment.

Faughs GAA Club is marking the 30th Anniversary of the 1987 Championship winning Senior & Intermediate Hurling teams and the 25th Anniversary of the 1992 Championship winning Senior Hurling team with an event in the Club on Sat 30th September starting @ 9pm. All welcome to coma long and share some laughs and memories with the players and join the celebrations to mark these great achievements!
