CLUB NOTES 30th June 2015

Senior hurlers had a mixed week, losing to Parnells by 7 pts on Tues and then going on to give an excellent display to defeat Erins Isle on Sat. Junior Bs had only one game losing out to Lucan Sarsfields on Sat. Junior Ds also had mixed results, on Wed evening they staged an amazing come-back to beat St. Oliver Plunkett/Eoghan Ruadh by two pts having been down by four with seven minutes to go, they then travelled to Castleknock on Sunday only to lose out by a couple of pts. Minor hurlers have two fixtures this week, they play Thomas Davis at home on Wed. evening @ 7.30 and travel to Somerton Park to play Castleknock on Sun 5^th @ 11.00.

U/16s had a hard fought 2 pt win over St Brigids on Sat, 2 goals from David Croke and 1 from Alan Leahy sealed the deal. Well done to Benjie Bowe, Adam O’Connell, Luke Conlon, Joe Kearns & Michael Moore.

Congratulations to Barry & Sinead Fennell on the birth of their baby Boy. Another hurler for Faughs!!

Camogie Snr 3 drew with St Judes in the Summer cup during the week Well done girls!.

Cunningham Cup next Sat 4^th July. Snrs play Roscrea on main pitch @ 2:30. Refreshments and presentation of medals in the Clubhouse afterwards. All welcome.

A big “Thank You” to Horkans Supervalu, Orwell for facilitating our bag pack last weekend. It was a huge success and raised valuable funds for our juvenile section.
