CLUB NOTES 3rd May 2016

Snr 5 camogie had a great win over Good Counsel in the league on Sun.

Congratulations to Jack McVeigh & the Dublin Minor Hurlers who are now through to the Leinster Semi Final.

 

Fixtures this week:

Snrs are up on Thursday against Ballyboden St Endas @ 7pm in O’Toole Park in the Championship.

Jnr As play Naomh Fionnbarra also in the Championship on Sat @ 6:15pm in Pope John Paul II Park.

And on Sun morn Jnr Bs play Counsel Gaels @ 11am in Tymon Nth in their Championship.

Camogie Snr 2 are away to Good Counsel on Tues @ 7:30pm.

A very busy week ahead in the club starting on Tuesday evening, when, in partnership with our sponsors Koping Citroen we have a ‘Talk’ with Liam Sheedy & professor Donal O’Shea. This talk is open to all and will cover all aspects of Hurling, Health & Happiness, it starts @ 8pm.

Our U/13 Tournament has finally arrived. This Sunday we host teams from Down, Clare, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Limerick, Tipperary, Westmeath, Wexford and of course Dublin. First match is 10:30am with finals played @ 4:30pm. BBQ & DJ, it promises to be a magnificent day not to be missed.

On top of all of this we have the Championship gamest & on Fri & Sat night there is a Snooker evening with Ken Doherty.

Next Monday, 9th May, we have the presentation of the Schools Project. Dublin Hurling manager Ger Cunningham will present the prizes for the winning projects.
