CLUB NOTES 3rd NOVEMBER 2019
Star of the Week is Senior camogie player Noelle Murphy who has been selected in goals on the Team of the 2019 Senior Camogie Club Championship. Well done and well deserved Noelle.
Commiserations to U15A hurlers who went down to Ballyboden St. Endas in the Shield Final on Sunday morning, and the D team who lost to Fingallians in their Shield Final also on Sunday morning.
Next big social event in the club is the Famous Faughs Food Fair on 23rd November. Doors open 8.00p.m. Tickets €15. This is a great night out not to be missed with a glass of Bubbly on arrival followed by a wide variety of dishes from starters to mains to desserts with wine to accompany each course. Music by Niall and Paul back this year by popular demand.
Progressive Table Quiz in the Members’ Bar every Wednesday night. As the end of the year approaches competition for the the prestigious Faughs Quiz Cup is hotting up and with only a couple of points separating the top teams it’s all to play for.
