Club Notes 4th April 2017

Senior hurlers had a good work-out on Sunday morning in a challenge game against St. Judes.  We emerged winners in a well contested game.

Minor hurlers had a convincing win over Scoil Ui Chonaill on a final scoreline of 1-21 to 1-14 on Sunday morning. Great performances, too numerous to mention individually. Well done to Michael, Francis and the lads.

U16s had a good win over Round Towers.

U15s were unlucky to lose by the narrowest of margins to Clontarf.

U13As defeated Ballyboden St. Endas while U13Bs lost to St. Kevins.

Congratulations to James O’Brien, Tom McVeigh and Liam Mostyn who were part of the successful South Dublin Colleges team who won the Leinster Final on Thursday with a convincing win over Good Counsel, Wexford. Well done to team and mentors.

Well done also to Jennifer O’Sullivan, Isabelle Costello, Chloe Mullin, Kerri Finnegan, Saoirse Malin and the Dublin Minor camogie team who accounted for Offaly in the Leinster Championship on Sunday. They are now through to the All-Ireland Semi-final v Clare.

The club extends our deepest sympathy to Tom, Con and Donal Murray and their extended family on the sad untimely passing of Dorry.  Dorry was an inspirational club member and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
