Club Notes 4th July 2017


Well done to Dublin hurlers on their fine Championship Qualifiers win.

Commiserations to Dublin Minor hurlers on their Leinster Final loss to Kilkenny.

A big well done also to Dublin U16 Div.1 and Div.2 Camogie teams on their championship wins on Sunday.

U/12 hurlers had a challenge game against a very skilful team from Kilnadeema Co Galway on Sun, a great morning’s hurling, we look forward to a return visit, Thanks to all who helped with catering etc.

Junior team (Manager Shane Brew) play Kevins on Tuesday evening @ 7.30 on Main Pitch. All support welcome.

Golf Classic was a huge success on Friday last with thirty teams playing. Winning team was sponsored by Tony Spellman (Tony Spellman, Martin McKenna and Richie Ryan) 2nd Place Micromail 3rd Smurfit Kappa (Seamus Walsh, Sean Walsh and Eamon Walsh). Front nine John Sisk (Victor O’Shea), Back nine St. Pius Boys’ School, Nearest pin Tony Spellman and Longest drive Gus Brennan. A big “Thank You” to all who contributed in any way to making the day such an outstanding success.

Club Lotto, Jackpot €7,900, Number 3, 8, 14 & 26 no winner, Three ‘Match 3’ winners (share €200) Mary Canny, Nicholas Canny & Niall O’Cleirigh. Next week’s jackpot will be €8,000.
