Congratulations to Mossy Walsh & Jimmy Murray who received awards from Galway Association for services to Galway GAA both as players & administrators. Thanks to Michael Broderick, John Dillon & John Leonard who presented the awards on behalf of the Association. A wonderful evening was had with both families supported by Children & Grandchildren. Thanks to Monica Spellman & John Conway for organising this memorable evening!

The 133rd AGM will take place in the Clubhouse on Sunday 20th January 2019 @ 11:00am. Full Members are invited to attend to review the progress of the past year and to plan for the year ahead. The administration of the meeting, voting procedures etc will be in accordance with the Club Constitution. Any nominations for Officer Board and Executive Committee together with motions should be lodged with the Club Secretary no later than 17th January 2019.
Congratulations & Good Luck to Kerrie Finnegan who was named on the Dublin Senior Camogie panel for 2019.

Traditional Irish Music Night this Thursday @ 9:30pm. All are welcome, especially visitors, you are encouraged to bring along an instrument and join in with the musicians or sing with the singers.

Club Lotto – Jackpot €7,700. Numbers 5, 6, 15 & 20 No Winner. Four ’Match 3’ Winners (share €200) – Seamus O’Connor, Barry Rafter, S&B McKiernan and Fintan Mahon. Next week’s jackpot will be €7,800.

Condolences to Noel Whelan on the death of his wife Eithne. Eithne was one of our glamorous Sunday night customers, she will be sadly missed by all in Faughs. To Noel, Ciara, Sinead, Orla, Niamh, Eithne’s brother Pat and all of Eithne’s family & friends we extend our deepest sympathy. May she Rest in Peace.

Congratulations to Charlie & Anne Boyle on the birth of their first grandchild, beautiful Aibhin who arrived on schedule on New Years Eve to give her family the best gift to start 2019.

Happy Birthday to Jim Byrne who celebrated a significant birthday this week.
