Club Notes 7th April 2019
What a busy weekend with all three adult hurling teams in Championship action.
First out were Seniors on a bright sunny Saturday evening v O’Tooles in Monastery Road Clondalkin. A great win here in a high scoring game, 3-18 to 2-15. Good solid team performance which augers well for the future. On Sunday morning Junior As drew with Lucan Sarsfields in a cracker of a game Faughs 1-11 Lucan 2-8. Also on Sunday morning Junior B’s had 10 points to spare over St. Brendans (Faughs 3-16 St. Brendans 0-15). Well done to all.
Commiserations to Senior Camogie team who went down by five points to Ballyboden St. Endas in the League on Sunday morning.

A big “Thank You” to all who helped to make Friday night’s Quiz such an outstanding success yielding €1,350 for our pitch development fund.
Thanks also to Fr. Patrick who celebrated Mass for deceased members in the club on Sunday morning. It was great to see so many old friends in attendance.
It was with great sorrow that news of the sad, untimely passing of Kathleen Ryan reached to club on Friday. Kathleen and husband Liam were great friends and supporters of the club over many years. To Liam, Louise, John and Colm together with Kathleen’s sister Eileen, brother Gerry, extended family and friends we extend our deepest sympathy. In Ithealann Dé go raibh a hAnam dílis.
