CLUB NOTES 7th AUGUST 2018
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Gaelic Sunday 1918 the club museum was open to the public all day. Thanks to Evelyn, Monica and Cliff who provided much-appreciated refreshments.
Deepest sympathy is extended to Joan Brennan and family on the sad unexpected passing of Mick, longtime friend of the club whose premises in Liberty Square, Thurles were a home from home for Faughs folk on match days in Semple Stadium. Also to Eamonn Rea and Paddy O’Brien on the death of Patsy Maloney and to the parents, brother, sister, grandmother, friends and clubmates of David O’Beirne who passed away tragically in the USA. Ar dheis laimh Dé go raibh a nAnamacha dílis.
