CLUB NOTES 7th July 2015
On Sat afternoon we hosted the Joe Cunningham Memorial Tournament. Joe was a great Faughs supporter with four of his sons, Joe, Martin (RIP), Eamon and John, all having worn the Faughs jersey with distinction. Roscrea ran out convincing winners in a most entertaining game and the Cup went home to Roscrea. Roll on next year!
On Sat 18th July our Senior hurlers travel to Ahane to play for the Tony Herbert Memorial Trophy. Tony was a highly-respected member of Faughs from the 1940s until he passed away last year. Bus leaves the clubhouse @ 2.00.p.m. There is a small number of seats still to be filled. Contact Paddy Herbert @ 087 9738796 asap.
Well done U/10s & U/12s who entertained Young Irelands (Kilkenny) on Sun morning. U/10s won 2 and drew 2 while the U/12s won 1 and drew 1. A great mornings hurling. Great to see legends Charlie Carter and Pat O’Neill managing Young Irelands U/10s.

Golf Society Captains Prize – 1st Ben Tierney 36pts, 2nd Ollie Newman 35pts, 3rd Liam O’Connor 34pts, 4th Timmy Dooley 34pts.
Snr 3 Camogie continue to perform very well in the Snr 1-3 Summer Cup with a good win over Naomh Brid. Final group match is this Tues away to Lucan Sarsfield.
Club Lotto – Numbers: 11, 22, 25 and 27. No Winner. Next week’s jackpot will be €12,600.
