Club Notes 8th September 2019
There was an air of excitement around Tymon North on Sunday morning as our youngest camogie teams hosted teams from different parts of the country as they stopped off on their way to Croke Park. A great morning’s hurling and new friendships forged.
Camogie – Senior As were unlucky to lose to Ballyboden St. Endas by a single point in the championship on Saturday evening.
Senior hurlers lost their third round championship game to a fancied Kilmacud Crokes side on Saturday evening. On Sunday Junior As and Bs both lost their championship quarter final games against Fingallians and Castleknock respectively. U 16s had a convincing victory over Commercials in their championship tie on Saturday evening. Well done to all.
On Saturday night Gus and Noeleen Brennan were guests of honour at a most enjoyable function in the Members’ Bar to acknowledge Gus’s contribution to the club firstly as player and later as administrator, having served as club Treasurer and Chairman for many years. Gus and Noeleen are wished many years of health and happiness as they relocate to the country.
Deepest sympathy is extended to Sylvia Keane on the death of her Mother. May she Rest in Peace.
