CLUB NOTES 9TH MAY 2017
The sun shone brightly on Tymon North on Sunday for our second Inter-County U13 Tournament and a great day’s hurling and camogie was enjoyed by all. Congratulations to Ballygalget from Co. Down and Abbeyknockmoy from Co. Galway who were over-all winners in hurling and camogie respectively. A huge “Thank You” to everyone who helped to make this such an enjoyable day’s sport. It now promises to be an annual affair and plans are already afoot for next year.
All three adult hurling teams were on Championship duty during the week. Seniors were first up on Wednesday evening but unfortunately came up short against All-Ireland Champions Cuala. Next came our AHL 6 team (Manager Seamus O’Connor) who also lost their game v Commercials. Finally our second AHL 6 Team (Manager Shane Brew) were beaten by St Maurs. Not a great week but there is now time to regroup and get ready for the final games in their groups.
