Faugh supports #ProtectOurFuture #ThankYouLaura HPV Vaccine campaign

Faughs Hurlers, Barra Ó Crofaígh and Tadgh Clifford are pictured with manager Marty McKenna in their HPV training tops. The HPV logo being used on GAA gear up and down the country is to spread awareness about a very important vaccine. Laura Brennan contacted the HSE in September 2017. At 25, after receiving a diagnosis of terminal cervical cancer, she wanted to advocate publicly in favour of the HPV Vaccine.

She was determined that every parent in Ireland who was about to make the decision whether their child was to be vaccinated, would hear her story first.

Her brother Kevin, a successful hurler with Éire Óg Ennis in Clare called on the GAA community to add the HPV logo to jerseys and training gear and spread awareness about the HPV vaccine available. For more information please visit the HSE website here
