CLUB NOTES 13TH FEBRUARY 2022

Now that Covid restrictions have been eased all club facilities are open and training has resumed for all teams. Contact team managers for training dates and times.

Well done to Oisín Walsh, Paul O’Connor, and Liam O’Chuanaigh who were part of the Dublin U16 team who travelled to Belfast on Saturday and had a convincing win over Antrim and to Roan Courtney who was also part of the Dublin travelling contingent. The teams then travelled on the Corrigan Park to support the Dubs senior team. A great day was had by all.

Congratulations to Kerrie Finnegan who played her part in the TUD Camogie team win in the Purcell Cup at the weekend also to Megan Rock who played for TUD second team who won the Uí Mhaolagain Cup.

Congratulations to Ballygunner on winning the Tommy Moore Cup on Saturday.

Anniversary mass for the late John Hearne will be celebrated in the clubhouse on Sunday 27th February @ 11.30am. Wouldn’t John be so proud of his native Ballygunner on their famous win!!

Club Lotto, Jackpot €10,400. Numbers 8, 9, 17 & 27. No Winner. One ‘Match 3’ winner – Miriam Courtney. Next week’s jackpot will be €10,500.
Wednesday night fun quiz is back. If interested just come along and join in the fun. No cover charge. No qualifications needed, just come along and enjoy the craic. All welcome.

Faughs are planning a series of monthly Social Events in the Clubhouse over the next few months in March and April 2022. For €25 we will offer a 2 Course Dinner with complimentary wine on arrival. Be sure to buy your ticket online as this is a ticket only event and will be sold on a first come first served basis. Tickets sales close 2 days before the event at 5pm. Dates – March 11th 2022 & April 22nd 2022. Price €25.
