Club Notes 15th August 2021

Snr hurlers had six points to spare over Ballinteer St. John in their last game of the season on Sat. This was a ding dong battle with the outcome uncertain until the final quarter when our lads pulled away and emerged deserving winners. Final score 4-16 to 2-12.

Junior As also had a great win in their League game v Castleknock. Stand out performances here from Dan Ryan, Ian Mitchell, Rian Doyle and Ruaidhrí Crowley. Final score 4-16 to 2-12.

Thrid Adult Hurling team were also victorious on Sun morn against Kevin’s. Final score 3-10 to 2-8.
Junior 1 Camogie team gave a sparkling display in their League Semi-final game v St. Vincents. Final score here was 4-12 to 3-6.

Well done to players and management teams.

We had 49 entries for the Club members ticket draw. Congrats to Paddy Morrissey who won the draw for the 2 stand tickets for the All Ireland Hurling Final on 22nd August (we’re not a bit jealous).

Club Lotto. Jackpot €7,800. Numbers 2, 10, 16 & 26. No winner. Three ‘Match 3’ winners (share €200) – Damien Peelo, Tony McGrath & Shane Brew. Next Week’s jackpot €7,900. Many thanks for your support!
