Faughs Community School Event 2019 – Thu 20 June
On Thursday June 20th, the annual community school’s night will take place. This year students from fourth class primary schools will propose artwork designs for the Club’s new ball wall. The winner will have their design painted on the wall!
On June 20th, the pupils will present their designs and walk us through their projects.
Participating schools include St Pius Boys School, St Pius Girls School, St Joseph’s School, Presentation Primary School and Cheeverstown School.
Our 2019 celebrity is Ursula Jacob who will meet the 4th classers and present awards on the presentation night. Ursula was a camogie star for Wexford for over 14 years and is still a club player with Oulart the Ballagh. She has a decorated career winning 4 All Star awards (2010, 2011, 2012, 2014), 4 All-Ireland Senior medals (2007, 2010 2011, 2012) and 3 National League titles. In 2011 she scored a dramatic 52nd-minute goal which changed the course of the All Ireland final and secured victory for Wexford.
We are looking forward to a great event, everyone in the club is welcome.
