Faughs Golf Society – Naas, Sat 11 Nov

It’s that time of the year again when it starts to get a bit sunnier and warmer and  the Faughs Golf Society resumes. This year we will be commencing our 19th year of play on the 1st April.

We would like to take this opportunity to inform everyone that the society is open to all members of Faughs GAA club and we would be delighted to invite new members along. The joining fee is minimal and we endeavour to keep the playing costs to a minimum. Thanks to the committee we have a full itinerary of ten events (see below) planned for this year and we have a lot of mouth-watering courses to play.

This year we are introducing a  player of the year category which hopefully will keep everyone interested until the last outing in Naas, if only to finish up ahead of your regular playing partners.

We are also reviving an old custom of the society and organising an away night and game of golf in October.

Finally, we would ask all Faughs Society and Non Society  members to come out and support the “Faughs GAA Golf Classic”  on the 29th of June to raise valuable funds for the club while enjoying a round of golf and grub at the nearby Grange Golf club.  Sponsors for the outings or the Golf Classic are always welcome and appreciated.

Anyone interested in becoming an member or sponsoring an outing please contact Liam O’Connor at 085 1416165 or one of the committee.
