Danny O'ReillyFAUGHS 2020 Community School Event

On Thursday June 21st, the annual community school event will take place. This year students from Fourth Class will present their projects on their heroes. We will host a night in Faughs where they will tell us their stories. Pupils from the following schools will take part: St Pius Boys School, St Pius Girls School, St Joseph’s Terenure, Presentation Primary School Terenure and Cheeverstown School. Lead singer with The Coronas, Danny O’Reilly will be our celebrity guest. He will be around for photos and will also present the prizes to winning teams. We would like to acknowledge and thank our sponsor Quillsen for their support. We are looking forward to a great event, everyone in the club is welcome to attend and we will keep you updated on the website.

FAUGHS 2020: U13 Dorry Murray Tournament

A very successful event on Sunday May 13 with 16 Teams representing the following clubs: Harps, Laoise, Tramore, Waterford. Dicksboro, Kilkenny. Ballygalget, Down. Monaleen, Limerick. St Martins, Wexford. Abbeyknockmoy, Galway. St Judes and Faughs. Camogie winners were Harps and the Hurling Cup went to Dicksboro. A big thank you to all of the volunteers, the mentors and parents who helped make this day possible. A very big thank you to the organizing committee.

Faughs Go to the Races Aug 16th:

The All Ireland Hurling Final is on Aug 19th. Start the weekend early and attend this exciting event. Faughs will have its own private area overseeing the racecourse, tables of 10 available including four course dinner, waiter service and tote betting facilities in the Faughs area. Schools out for Summer Clear out Recycle

With Summer holidays on the horizon. Remember you can RECYCLE All unwanted clothes, shoes, towels and sheets. NO DUVETS OR PILLOWS PLEASE. Green Bags available from the Faughs clubhouse or your Team Champion. Fill up and return to the clubhouse. Contact Joanne Cullen 087 9553491 for any further information.

 

 

GAA Cul Camps at FAUGHS:

Monday July 16th to Friday July 20th 2018. An action packed week of activities and games for children aged 6 to 13. GAA games with qualified coaches in a safe and fun environment.

Faughs Club Summer Camp:

Congratulations

to the Senior 5 Camogie Team who had a recent win over St Judes in their final league match for 2018. The team have won the league and are promoted to Senior 4 for 2019. Congratulations to all the players and their mentors Faughs U12 Camogie Team had a great day at the Caman Leinster blitz in Adamstown recently winning all 3 matches. Well done to players and mentors.

Also to our U10/11 boys who recently won the Dublin Community Games representing a “St Pius” Parish Hurling Team. The team has players from St Judes & Faughs, we wish them the best of luck in the Leinster Semi Finals. We wish St Pius Camogie Team the best of luck in Cumann na mBunscoil finals in Croke Park.

Feile Competitions Congratulations to all our U14 Camogie and Hurling players who took part in the Feile Competitions recently. They all did their club proud. Well Done.
