Gala Launch of 2022 Hurling Season #2 – Retry for Sat 26 Feb

Weather forecast permitting, the new official Gala launch of Hurling for 2022 takes place this Saturday, simultaneously, at four venues across the County.  The honour of starting the 138th season of Faughs hurling now falls on our mighty U13s, playing their first official fixtures of the year at 1.30pm.  The focus of the local excitement will be in Terenure College, at our only home fixture, but we’ll also be throwing in at Maurs in Rush, Scoill Ui Chonaill in St Annes Park and Ballinteer in Marley Park.

The celebrations continue on Sunday with our adult hurling teams and U15s commencing their seasons too.

The Senior hurlers play former All Ireland Club Champions, Cuala, in the first AHL1 league fixture of the year at the Civil Service pitch in Islandbridge.

Osprey Stadium is officially back at full capacity after the troubles and we look forward to welcoming back all our fans and friends for 2002.
