Photos from Juvenile Hurling Medal Presentations
This year was one of our most successful to date in the juvenile ranks. Competitive competitions start at what is known as the ‘CCC2’ (u13 – u16) age group in Dublin. This year we had two u13 teams competing in the Div 1 & Div 6 leagues. Both teams won their respective leagues with our A team finishing the league unbeaten and our B team only being beaten in one game by a single point! A fantastic achievement by this age group.
Our u15 hurlers who bowed out of the championship at semi-final stage came runners up in their Div 2 league having beaten the eventual league winners two weeks previous to the league final. The u15’s showed great consistency all year and a marked improvement in performances, well done lads.
Our u16 hurlers were also runners up in their Div 4 league, this is another great achievement for these lads considering there was no u15 team least year. Well done to all players and mentors.
On the camogie side the all conquering u16 side won the A Championship for the first time in the clubs history. Many of the girls represented Dublin A & B sides this year. Well done to all players and mentors.
We hope to have an evening of fun and appreciation for both players and mentors efforts throughout the year. We will also have a special guest to present the medals to the boys and girls. See you all on 3rd December!
