SDCC Mayor Emma Murphy Officially Opens Our New Pitch

Emma Murphy, SDCC Mayor, officially opened our new Faughs GAA pitch in Tymon Park.

She highlighted the partnership between SDCC and Faughs GAA with Sports Capital Grants support making the project possible.

She wished the club continued success with the pitch and she also visited the clubhouse.

The club also hosted a visit from corporate Amazon guests from Asia and America, who watched an exhibition game between St. Pius and St Joseph’s senior hurling teams.

Our GPO Tommy, with the assistance of Paul O’Connor from our U16s, put on a display of the basics of hurling skills.
