Thank You Monica
After 40 years continuous service on the Faughs Executive committee ( preceded by 25 years on the Finance committee), Monica Spellman has decided to retire as Club PRO at the end of 2022.
Ever present on the sideline as well as the boardroom, Monica has given great service and support to the Club over the years as we have grown from an adult hurling club playing in Phoenix Park, to establishing a base and clubhouse in Tymon in 1981, to the inauguration of juvenile hurling in 1982, to the addition of Camogie through the merger with Celtic in 2000 and the establishment of juvenile Camogie in 2005.
We are hugely grateful for her contributions to the development and success of the Club. We are pleased that that Monica will continue as a very active member and we wish her well in the future.
Go raibh míle maith agat from eveyone in Faughs.
