U10’s Shine in North Side

The panel travelled across town to take on NAOMH BARROG at ANNES park.  The great weather on the day was matched and surpassed by the quality of performance that displayed all the skills of the game.  In particular the ball striking continues to improve and it was very pleasing to see some long range scores and puck outs.  Three matches took place across the grades and numbers matching exactly meant that all the squad got full game time in conditions ideal for hurling.  The one team travelled closer to home versus GOOD COUNSEL by the canal and made up ground with a fine skilled performance compared to the previous fixture against this opposition – the mentors were pleased and reflect on good work at training in recent weeks.  Well done to all the boys representing their club.
Particular well done to the MOTM winners who were outstanding on the day and received their trophies –
