U10s Vs Geraldine P Morans/Lucan Sarsfields 8th September 2018

The boys played their second games after the summer break with the 1 Team playing at home first at 10am to Geraldine P Morans on the Main Faughs pitch in Tymon Park followed straight after by the 3 Team playing Lucan Sarsfields Team 1.  There was heavy rain overnight and early in the morning which prompted a few texts re matches going ahead but with the pitch surface in perfect condition after the great summer the holding of the matches was never in doubt.  There was a great turn out of players for Faughs with nearly 40 players playing in total.  All the players put in a great effort against strong opposition from both visiting teams.  Again the games demonstrated the importance of doing things at speed as time is at a minimum when it comes to rising or striking the sliothar against strong opponents.

There was some great performances in both sets of matches but the stand out players and winners of the Man Of The Match trophies for this week were:

Jake Murphy Best vs Geraldine P Morans and Adam Murray, Harry Moylan and Cillian McGetrick vs Lucan Sarsfields.
